or find it listed under Weekly Websites
2. Type in the username (ambermcfatterclass) and password (student)
3. Click on the computer icon (online leveled books)
3. Click on your name
4. Click on My Books to see books I've chosen for you OR
5. Click on Find Books to search for books on your level (every book that appears will be in your level range)
6. Read
7. Answer the questions at the end of the text

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break everyone! Enjoy this special time with family and friends. There never seems to be enough of it.

Remember the mile run test is Monday, November 29th at 1:30. I know your children would love to see you there cheering them on. I hope you can make it. If anyone is able to donate Popsicles to have after the run, it would be appreciated.

Join us at the FALL FESTIVAL

The Fall Festival is on November 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale every morning this week from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tickets are 5 for $1.00 before the festival and 4 for $1.00 on day of the festival.

Math Facts

Second graders should be fluent with sums to 18 and the related subtraction facts. We are discovering that while many of us can add effectively we are not adding efficiently. Please work on the basic math facts with your child. There are great websites to visit and games to play. I can provide additional resources to you if necessary. Just let me know! First Week

Wow! The last two days went so quickly. We've spent time learning rituals and routines for our class and getting to know one another. Today we wrote a story about a special time with our family, read Wanda's First Day and practiced making predictions, and we worked with cubes in math using numbers to show addition situations.
Please continue to send in supplies and completed paperwork.
This is going to be a wonderful year!
